No one can guarantee the future, though real estate prices appreciating over the long term is a pretty good bet. You can see in the early 80’s with inflation skyrocketing, home prices retreated. Post the 2008 housing apocalypse, there’s a shallow trough for a few years. The 2023-2024 markets show some fluctuations, but overall, the housing market is up and to the right.
