This post automatically updates the latest new construction permits data. It’s a nice measure to see how our community is growing and the health of the new construction industry, and the best way to do that is to see new housing permits data. 

In order for a builder to start any new construction project, they need to get permission from their municipality for begin construction. For that reason, we have very accurate data to forecast new house builds. 

As you peruse this chart, you can slide the bottom indicators to see a larger time period. Not a lot of permits are pulled in Dec-Feb, so that’s why there is an annual dip during those months.
